Finding the perfect pair of jeans is hard enough but finding white jeans is even tougher. I’m obsessed with this pair and they are absolutely perfect for petites! Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? I wear mine all year round. As you can see, my mind is already in Fall mode.
One of the recurring comments found in the reviews section is that these boots make the feet look big. While that may be true, I came to terms with this sometime ago. Old Nancy would have returned the boots based on this alone. New Nancy says: Yes! I am tall and I have bigger feet! They allow me to go about my business and help support my statuesque frame, so I am not going to bash them! So I say, screw it, go on with your big feet! So whether it be stilettoes, kitty heels (they’ve been getting a beating lately… LOL), or shoes that make your feet look big, wear what makes YOU comfortable and happy! *gets off soap box* LOL
Absolutely love this capri, specially for running/lifting/biking outside - all exercises that I like to listen to music! I have to “dance” a little to put it on because it’s a compression capri, but once it’s on… it’s super comfortable. I would think being so compressed it would give me a muffin top, but it doesn’t. To run, I have tried the arm band to put my phone but the velcro part keeps getting stuck on my shirt usually. I have also tried the fanny pack but that keeps bouncing since I always have my iPhone and keys inside. The side pocket on this capri is perfect! I can put my phone and keys with no problem and they stay in place… also, it’s super easy to take the phone off to skip a music I don’t like and put it back.

The model is shown with the waistband showing. I found I like wearing it with the waistband tucked under or even tucked into pants like a t-shirt. It’s very cute and great for inversions in yoga (it doesn’t fall around my face like a regular t-shirt would when I’m upside down).

This skirt is super cute. The material is a bit thin but not see thru. It’s perfect for fall or mild winters only due to thinness of material. To give an idea of sizing, I am 5'9 and 159 pounds, my hips are 39’ inches. I ordered Large, fits perfectly and just below the knee. It hugs every inch tightly but you can move about comfortably and it doesn’t feel ‘tight’ and does not bag after wearing for hours on end. It holds its shape. The rust color is a beautiful burnt orange, perfect for fall. Think I will order the other two colors later I do own several other real suede skirts (size 8) and they do not stretch or have any leeway, however they are thicker material and satin lined. I bought these last year and wore them throughout the fall and winter months. I really love them. They look tough and chic at the same time. I wore them with a denim tunic and Converse sneakers as well as with oversized sweaters and booties, and they worked well both ways. They are extremely versatile and can be worn in myriad ways. While they won’t pass for real leather, faux leather is now considered mainstream and Hue always has excellent quality items that are fairly priced and these leggings are no exception. I wear a size 8 and the medium fit me perfectly. They have a generous rise and are not low cut like other brands. They are very comfortable to wear on cool or cold days but can be a bit warm otherwise. The material is thick enough so that it thankfully doesn’t show every bump or bulge. They can be hand washed and hung to dry or even placed in the dryer for 10 minutes on the lowest setting (which gets out the wrinkles). All in all, I’m pleased with my purchase and will look forward to wearing them again this year. When I was shopping for faux leather leggings, Hue had the best quality of all and although they were a little pricier ($50), they were definitely worth it because they looked the most like real leather. I definitely recommend these Hue leggings.

I had the pleasure of working with her in the NYC Lingerie Fashion week runway show this past October and saw the brand in action! The Lingerie Guide How The High-Cut Stole Our Hearts December 15, 2015 There was a forgettable period of recent style that dropped waistlines to perilously low depths. Thongs and teeny strips of fabric were developed to make sure that while a butt crack may show, panty lines stayed hidden. If you were anything like me, even the vintage appeal of a high-waist was lost on those of a certain age, and any underwear that crept over the hips was deemed a “granny panty.” For whatever reason, the muffin top effect that these low briefs contributed to was more appealing than a higher cut. Thank god we all came to our senses. Now, I’m not saying that skimpy underthings certainly don’t have their place, but a high-cut bottom can be the most comfortable option for all different body types. I find that in a tighter dress that I don’t want to wear a slimming garment under, a higher cut brief tends to hold in those love handles a bit more, kind of creating a reverse muffin top effect. There is basically no body type that won’t be enhanced by a waist-defining and hip-minimizing cut. Going even further, some lines of slimming garments like Spanx and D’Mondaine have created their own high-waist panties, which is a great way to streamline curves under a pair of pants or in a tight garment. Not to mention, these days vintage styles are all the rage, and there is nothing that better suits a high-waist pant then a high-cut brief. Many brands established and new are coming up with creative ways to raise underwear waistlines, making sure there is a piece available within everyone’s budget and style. While typical granny panties were boring giant pieces of cloth, the modern high-cut brief comes in a range of styles that are perfect for any situation.
The Lingerie Guide The Last Minute Run Around | Wedding Night Lingerie December 22, 2015 Every bride has her perfect dress in mind, but with all of the other minute details that go into planning a wedding, sometimes wedding night lingerie gets forgotten. I got to experience this last year, when my friend called me in New York from her wedding venue in California absolutely freaking out because she forgot to buy lingerie. Now, I love pretty things and especially love buying them, but lingerie can be incredibly personal, especially when all I can think about is my best friends, well, using it. But of course I agreed, and then started to freak out. Luckily, the whole experience gave me some great insight on what to consider when buying wedding night goodies. BHLDN STARLET ROBE – $280 First of all, I had to think about my friend, and what her style is. Knowing that she liked simple styles but interesting cuts (and worked in fashion) helped me focus away from the complicated wedding night ensembles that are available. Instead, I opted for a simple sheer white chemise to give her something special, and focused on white bra and panty sets to spice up the look. Of course, that was the hard part! I know what I like in a bra, and luckily we are around the same size, so I tried on about 10 different options in a range of styles, including a few I wasn’t sure about. Of course, once I put them on, the ones I was least sure about ended up looking gorgeous, and it was easy to know which was the right one for my friend.
